Ski Bowl Park Trails

Location: Ski Bowl Park, Route 28, North Creek

Length: Two multi-use and four dedicated mountain bike trails, with links to additional trails in the Vanderwhacker forest.  Trails vary in length from a 0.3 k double black diamond trail to a 2.3 k beginner trail, and can be combined to make rides of various lengths

Directions&Parking: The Carol Thomas trail, which connects to all of the other trails in the park, begins at the Johnsburg Town Hall.  Take Exit 23 off the Northway.  Turn left and then right onto US9.  Go through Warrensburg.  Turn left onto NYS 28 and continue for about 16 miles.  Turn right onto Main St.  The Town Hall with parking for the trailhead will be on your left.
Trail Notes: Well-marked, professionally designed and constructed trails for a variety of skill levels from beginner to expert.  The Ski Bowl Connector trail links to the Raymond Brook trail for additional options outside of the park.  See the map for details.
Things to do Nearby: The hamlet of North Creek is connected to the trail system via the Carol Thomas Trail and contains a wide variety of shopping and dining options.  Gore Mountain is just to the west of the park and offers serious downhill mountain biking, including lift tickets.  There are a variety of whitewater rafting and paddling opportunities on the nearby Hudson River.  The Schaeffer Foot Trailhead, located within Ski Bowl Park, provides hiking connections to a large number of trails within the Siamese Ponds Wilderness.
