Cod Pond Trail
The Cod Pond Trail offers an easy, family-friendly hike to a scenic pond with a primitive campsite and the opportunity for fishing and wildlife viewing. The hike starts with a short, rocky climb to the trail register and an intersection. Take the yellow marked trail to the right towards Cod Pond. After another 0.2 miles, the trail intersects with the blue-marked Moose Mountain snowmobile trail. Stay to the left to continue to Cod Pond. A primitive campsite is located near the trail’s end. Continue another 100′ or so down to the shore where the perfect rock for a picnic awaits.
