Maple Syrup and Agriculture

The Thurman/Warrensburg area is home to a wide variety of maple syrup producers.  An annual Maple Days festival celebrates the spring harvest.  Community farmer’s markets offer a wide variety of locally grown and crafted products, and a number of farms offer tours of cheesemaking, sawmill operations, and Christmas Tree growing.

Family fun and educational too! Certified tree farm practicing silviculture to promote sustainable forestry management, woods walks, sawmill demonstrations and more including an annual Lumber Woods Walk in June.
